Welcome to my little personal guide to food science and the biochemistry of every day life!
“You are what you eat!” There is more truth to this than many people know. Food influences our lives on a chemical as well as an emotional or psychological way. Even as a biochemist, I think the amount of information about our food, our metabolism, our bodies and the chemistry we come in contact with every day is surreal. I also often observe that there is just plain disinformation in circulation. A little example for this is how homeopathy is often confused with plant based medicine (more about that here).
That’s why it is very important to me to spend time extending my knowledge about this, and then sharing truthful and trustworthy information with my readers. That’s why I welcome you, dear reader, on this new page of mine. I am excited that we are going on this adventure together.
