Quark-Yoghurt Creme

31. January 2018Milly2 comments3399 views
This fresh, limey and sweet quark yoghurt creme is a great recipe for Valentine's Day or just as a delicious dessert for some guests or loved ones. It os prepared really quickly and can be made in a "low carb" version very easily.

Originally I designed this recipe for Valentine’s day! But shouldn’t we take take the opportunity to tell our people how much you love and care about them every day? My way of doing that is feeding them 🙂 I am also a fan of quick recipes that taste good and inspired by the lemonmousse cake I published on the blog last march, I created a recipe for a quark yoghurt creme with melted blueberries! Quick and delicious!

Just mix all the ingredients for the mousse. Let the blueberries (or any other fruit ) simmer for a short while, until they are a thick fruitsauce. After cooling, mix in the gelatin and fill into glasses alternately with the creme. Let it cool for a few hours. Decorate and serve! Et voilĂ :)

My newsletter will deliver all my news, recipes and freebies to you once a week, so don’t miss that opportunity. And if you are interested in the science behind your food and your everyday life, just join my Facebook group “The bubbly biochemist” 🙂

The 6th of december is an important day in Luxemburg, especially for kids - it's St. Nicolas day! And one cake I really miss here is the traditional "Boxemännchen" - a little man made of a yeast dough.
